Privacy Policy

We're committed to protecting our customers' personal data whether that data is old or new. We'll always keep your data safe, up to date and only ever use it for what you have requested.

Here's what you need to know!

● We'll always keep your personal data safe and secure - it's of the utmost importance to us;
● We'll only ever use the data you provide to us to send you our email newsletter or complete an order you have placed with us, either over the phone or, in-store for special orders and back-orders;
● We'll only ever use your data for marketing if you have told us you want us to receive our email newsletter!

Your payment and billing information

The vast majority of our sales are done in-store with a very small number placed over the phone. Debit and credit card information is never stored by us. Instead it is processed by a card payment company who meet the highest standards of data protection. Furthermore, for Dancers Boutique to be able to utilise card payments, we must and do meet the stringent data processing and protection regulations required by the credit card provider. This is referred to as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Dancers Boutique, as a merchant, must achieve this compliance, which is renewed on a yearly basis.

Your personal information

All reasonable care is taken by Dancers Boutique staff handling personal information to ensure its security both offline and online. We do not sell and have never supplied any personal information to any third parties other than for delivery purposes as outlined below.

Name and address details will only have been collected when required for special orders, backorders or to post something out to customers and this information is always hand written and we do not store these details digitally nor retain these details for the long-term. Your address details are again, hand-written on to address labels and are only ever seen by Royal Mail in order for the postman or woman to deliver your parcel! We don't pass your phone number or email address details (if noted) to Royal Mail in order to send a parcel.

Marketing

Our email newsletter is and always has been an opt-in service provided by Dancers Boutique. You will have received an email newsletter from us after signing up in-store on our 'sign up sheet' or via the link on our website. We do not get email addresses from any other sources.

You can unsubscribe from email newsletter communications sent by us at any time by:
● Clicking the 'unsubscribe' link in the email.

For any Google search results where an advert appears for Dancers Boutique, there is no connection between Dancers Boutique and yourselves as the listing will have been placed there based upon criteria known only by Google.

Our Facebook page is solely for the benefit of providing relevant dance relation information and latest dance wear releases and offers to people who have taken the time to 'follow us'. We are proud that of the 1000+ Facebook followers, all of them did so themselves and no 'fake followers' have ever been purchased!

Your data and your rights

You have the right to:
● Request a copy of the information held on you;
● Correct the information we hold on you;
● Have the information we hold on you deleted.

In order to act upon one of your above rights, or if you just have a question, please write to us at:
